What changes the price of an aircond job in JB?
- Horsepower and unit type. Service, wash and overhaul are priced by HP. A cassette or ceiling-exposed unit needs panels down and often a ladder or platform, so its price is confirmed on the unit.

Are there hidden charges on top of the aircond price in JB?
No. The quote you accept is the bill you pay, and none of these is ever added:

At 1.0 to 1.5 HP, a chemical wash is RM 120 a unit on three or more units in one visit, or from RM 180 for a single unit, against RM 250 for an overhaul; at 2.0 to 2.5 HP it is RM 220 against RM 290. A wash treats the coil and blower wheel in place on the wall in 90 to 120 minutes. An overhaul takes the whole indoor unit off the wall and strips it, for visible mould through the vents or a smell that came back within weeks of the last wash.
How much does it cost to change an aircond capacitor?
RM 115 to RM 160 all in, 8% SST included: RM 80 labour and RM 35 to RM 80 for the part. A failed capacitor stops the compressor, one of the common reasons a unit runs but the room does not get cold. We carry capacitors with us, and the RM 79 diagnosis comes off the bill when you go ahead.
Is the aircond unit included in the installation price?
No. RM 350 to RM 550 is install only, for a standard wall split within a 3-metre pipe run on existing electrical. If you have already bought the unit, we install it at the table price; if you want us to supply it, the unit and the install are quoted as two separate lines.
