DB Box (Distribution Board) Replacement & Upgrade

The DB box is the nerve centre of your home's electrical system. Older DB boxes — particularly those with rewirable fuses rather than MCBs (Miniature Circuit Breakers) — are a safety risk and a compliance issue during renovation. We replace old DB boxes with modern MCB-equipped boards, properly sized for your current electrical load, with correct labelling and documentation.

We recommend getting the DB box assessed before any major renovation work begins.

Electrical Wiring Upgrades & Rewiring

We carry out full and partial rewiring projects, run new circuits for kitchen appliances, air conditioners, and EV chargers, and upgrade sub-standard cabling throughout the home. All wiring is done to current standards with proper cable sizing and correct earthing.

Power Point & Switch Installation

Not enough power points in the kitchen? Extension cords snaking across the living room floor? We add power points, double sockets, and USB charging outlets wherever you need them — connected back to the DB box with properly sized circuits, not tapped off existing circuits that are already at capacity.

Lighting Installation & Feature Lighting

Downlight installation, LED strip lighting, pendant lights, feature wall lighting, sensor lighting, and outdoor security lighting — we handle the full scope. For renovation projects, we plan the lighting layout before the ceilings are closed so wiring is concealed properly.

Ceiling Fan Installation & Replacement

Ceiling fan installation requires a properly braced ceiling outlet box that can handle the weight and vibration of a fan. We check the structural connection, install the correct outlet box, and mount the fan properly. We also replace old, noisy, or faulty fans with minimum disruption.
